• April 6-7 Toy Group Obedience and Rally Trials. Parabellum's Kupale V Goldshield 'Robi' complete her third legs for both her BN and RN; Parabellum's Lanakila V Goldshield 'Lana' did the same for her CD and RA titles!

• Parabellum's Kupale V Goldshield 'Robi' (Kaneohe, HI) goes Winners Bitch for another 2 pts on Saturday, April 13th, 2013, at the Windward Hawaiian Dog Fanciers Association All Breed Dog Show in Kaneohe, HI.  Thank you AKC judge Mr. Norm Kenney from Crossroads, TX for this win.

• Robi goes Group 3/Best of Breed/Best of Winners/Winners Bitch and Parabellum's Reckoning V Goldshield 'Bud' goes Winners Dog good for 2 and 1 pts respectively on Sunday, April 14th, 2013 at the Windward Hawaiian Dog Fanciers Association All Breed Dog Show in Kaneohe, HI. Thank you CKC judge Mrs. Margaret Jones from Shawnigan Lake,B.C., CN for your consistency.  

• With these wins Robi and Lana go to the 2013 American Rottweiler Club National Specialty (Pomona, CA) show owning 15 pts and one major and 14 pts and two majors, respectively. Both girls do so at 14.5 months old and compete against one another from the BBE class.

• Sisters Lana and Robi travelled to Pomona, CA for the 2013 American Rottweiler Club National Specialty show. For the first time in over 12 months the sisters were reunited with several of their litter mates.  Parabellum's Pineapple Express "Chug", Parabellum's Hula Girl V Goldshield CGC "Sasha", and Parabellum's Big Bang V Goldshield "Sheldon" drove in from Boise, ID; Laramie, WY; and Austin, TX respectively for a chance at 'Rottywood' stardom.  It was really neat watching this litter accumulate the accolades.  We'd say they had a very successful week! Here is a brief summary of their accolades at this year's Nationals:

February 2013 

• Parabellum's Hula Girl V Goldshield, CGC 'Sasha' (Laramie, WY) had a very busy five day weekend in Denver, CO.  Despite chomping at the bit behind several class wins and a Reserve, Sasha takes a four point Major win on Monday, February 18th, in Denver, CO under AKC judge Ms. Joyce A. Vanek from Evergreen, CO.  Sasha was expertly handled by Mr. Perry Payson during this win;  This was the first weekend Perry had an opportunity to take the lead on Sasha.  Thank you very much Perry!!!  Sasha is owned by Ms(Dr). Pamela Clarke from Laramie, WY.  With this win, all females from the "5-0" litter whelped 1-28-12, are now 4 or 5 pt major pointed and on their way to being AKC CHs very soon (fingers crossed). 

• Parabellum's Big Bang V Goldshield, CGC 'Sheldon' (Wimberly, TX) had another very busy weekend down in San Marcos, TX resulting his first points as well.  On Saturday and Sunday, February 16-17, at all breed shows hosted by the Guadalupe Valley Dog Fanciers Inc, Sheldon, owner-handled, went W/BW/BOB from the 12-18 month class under AKC judge Dr. Dana Ann Smith Massey from Valley Mills, TX and W/BW/OS under AKC judge Ms. Jan C. Sigler from Overland Park, KS the following day.  Sheldon is owned by Ms. Terri White from Wimberly, TX.

• Parabellum's Lanakila V Goldshield RN, BN, CGC 'Lana' (Waimanalo, HI) probably had the most hectic weekend off all.  Lana took a 210 mile plane ride from Honolulu to Hilo, HI to trial in obedience, rally, and compete in three all breed shows hosted by the Orchid Island Dog Fanciers Association, Inc & Hilo Obedience Training Club.  On Saturday, although not receiving a passing score in advance rally due to her compulsion to play with another dog ringside, Lana made a quick recovery and went W/BW/BOB/Grp 3 under Canadian judge Mrs. Patricia Lanctot from Ontario, CN.  On Sunday Lana was awarded her first passing score and second place out of 10 entries in Novice Obedience and then going W/BW/OS under Canadian judge Dr. Michael Woods from Newfoundland, CN.  Finally on Monday, Lana again went W/BW/BOB/Grp 3 under Canadian judge Mr. Michael Lanctot from Ontario, CN.  All three wins were good enough for a total of six points toward her AKC CH.  Lana is co-owned with Ms. Suzi Hillis from Waimanalo, HI.

January 2013

• Parabellum’s Big Bang V Goldshield ‘Sheldon’ had a very busy weekend down in Rosenberg, TX.  On Friday, January 18th, at the American Rottweiler Club Region III Specialty hosted by the Texican Rottweiler Club Sheldon went first in sweepstakes from his 9-12 month puppy classOn the his second and last day for the weekend Sheldon again went first place the the 9-12 puppy class and went reserve winners dog.  Sheldon is owned by Ms Terri White from Wimberly, TX. 

• Parabellum’s Reckoning V Goldshield ‘Bud’ (Honolulu, HI) was RWD (to a 4 pt major) under Ms Patricia Taylor from Goodyear, Arizona  at the West Oahu Kennel Club All Breed Show held on Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  Bud is owned by Mike Street and his son Tyler.
